Choosing a place for a date is more important than it might seem. If you want to get to know each other better then it is no good going to a cinema or theatre because there will not be much opportunity for talking. You will need to decide if you want to do something romantic or would rather it be fun.

It is worth talking to your date about what they would like to do and also considering the cost as even if you can easily afford something, they may not be bale to and they may not want you to pay for them. If it is up to you to choose then think about the impression that they will get of you if you take them to certain places and also think about where they might want to go and what might impress them.

It is also important to think of options as a walk or picnic might sound great but if it rains it would be good to have an alternative. Think carefully about what you want to achieve form the date and where to go in order to achieve this but also consider what you date might want and how they might feel about your plans.
